Katherine Goyette (Google Certified Innovator/Trainer) and Adam Juarez (Google Certified Innovator/Trainer) regularly co-present professional development sessions across the California for teachers, coaches, and administrators regarding EdTech integration in the classroom. Katherine is an EdTech Integration Consultant for Tulare County Office of Education, and Adam is a Tech Integration Coach for grades 6-12 in Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District. Katherine and Adam are co-founders of the Twitter hashtag, #CVTechTalk, a platform for collaborative conversations. They host #CVTechTalk’s weekly edchat, which has been featured on a local news segment. Both Katherine and Adam have been LeRoy Finkel Fellowship finalists for CUE (Computer Using Educators).
They present across the nation at EdTechTeam Summits, CUE Events and more. They preach the importance for teachers grow their PLN through the power of social media. They specialize in tech coaching. They present sessions on working with tech-resistant teachers and ways for tech coaches to get out the office and be more effective in classrooms. In addition, they work with pre-service teachers and interns on 21st century learning and pedagogy.
