The Plan FORWARD
PHASE IV UPDATE
PHASE IV IS COMPLETE!
22x16 ft LED VIDEO WALL
The theatre now seeks funds to complete purchasing and installation of a new 16x22ft LED Video Wall with a total cost of $400,000.
The LED VIDEO WALL allows the Brauntex to expand its programming and create visual art that is high definition and will be regionally recognized. The Wall also allows the Brauntex to become a fully functioning performing arts stage with the creation of digital backdrops, illusion of a larger stage, and digital props.
The opportunities with an LED VIDEO WALL are endless. As the Brauntex seeks to stay relevant in the performing arts sector, equipment such as the Wall are necessary for advancement in art and increase of economic impact in our community.
HELP US REACH OUR GOAL!
PHASE IV...
As a compliment to the Theatre’s current performance amenities, the Phase IV technical upgrades will modernize and expand its audio/acoustics, lighting, atmospheric, and visual technologies. It will facilitate improved communications throughout the Theatre and expand its capabilities to support theatrical backdrops via electronic media such as; high-resolution media presentations, movie presentations, and streamed events, to name just a few. It will also free the Theatre from a dependency on equipment rentals and donations currently required to launch events.
PHASE IV OBJECTIVES
Continued Revitalization of Downtown New Braunfels
Attracting a higher caliber of nationally touring acts will continue to put Downtown New Braunfels on the map and draw patrons from all over the nation to attend shows at the Brauntex – increasing economic viability for all businesses in the downtown area.
Expand ArtReach Program & Implement A New Technical Arts Program
Increase outreach to local nonprofits that serve at-risk-youth by providing access to art, heritage, and cultural education. With the State of Arts technology, the Brauntex will be able to provide a learning lab for local high school, college, and technical students to learn more about technical theatre production.
Diversify Programming
The technical upgrade will allow the Brauntex to host array of performances including but not limited to theatrical, film, and interactive shows, conferences, etc.
THE IMPORTANCE OF PHASE IV & YOUR SUPPORT
The Brauntex Theatre will need to raise just over $3.1 million through local investment and state-wide foundational funding opportunities to implement the necessary upgrades that will complete Phase IV – it is necessary for the Brauntex Theatre to engage the community through this multi-year, multi-faceted fundraising campaign.
