Microbursts - A whole-school approach to promote, discuss,and practice Digital Citizenship
We will discuss Microburst lessons and how they can help create a culture of digital citizenship throughout a school community. These small lessons that can be added to any subject area to help students develop DigCit skills, such as critical thinking, understanding the ethics of generative AI, and information literacy. The literacies incorporated within DigCit can give students the skills to think critically about how to use generative AI ethically and responsibly. Students need to be able to build positive online communities, understand the needs of people from all over the world, protect their privacy and think critically about resources.
