LaMoya N Burks is Head Librarian/Adjunct Instructor for Texarkana College in Texarkana, TX. She is the Past Chair of TLA District 5 and District 5 Chair of Nominating Committee. She has been involved with CULD Legislative committee, TLA Black Caucus Committee, New Member Roundtable, Library Instruction Roundtable and 2018 ProCo Committee. She was selected as TLA Member of the Month August 2016. She serves as an Intern for the Chapter Relations Committee for American Library Association.
