Hi, my name is Juan Orozco and I am the Director for Instructional Technology and Library services at Del Valle ISD. I have been an educator for 24 years, 13 of those spent developing skills and indulging my passion for the use of technology and reading to improve teaching and learning. I'm a PBS teacherline online facilitator, Star Discovery Educator, Google Innovator, and Intel Master Teacher. I am proud to lead the district's instructional technology initiatives and our excellent team of instructional technology facilitators and librarians. Amongst many exciting efforts underway at Del Valle ISD, our most recent is a blended learning program pilot at the high school, with the goal of expanding to the middle schools. We believe this approach can propel teaching and learning from good to great and lead to true differentiated instruction.
