1. Intercept Safely and Effectively
Deploy near severe weather with precision, using real-time data and strategy to approach storms while minimizing risk.
2. Gather Storm Data
Use mesonet tech, probes, and visual documentation to collect valuable in-game storm behavior for community use, roleplay, or archive.
3. Advance Vehicle Engineering
Push the limits of Twisted vehicles with custom modifications for durability, mobility, and storm resistance.
4. Support the Chasing Community
Collaborate with other chasers, provide information during live events, and maintain a helpful presence in the field.
5. Document and Share the Experience
Capture intercepts, high-risk drives, and unique moments to share with viewers and followers across YouTube and Discord.
6. Innovate with Purpose
Build new equipment, deploy new units, and test strategies that push storm chasing in Twisted to the next level.
7. Stay Committed to the Mission
No matter the storm, the goal is always the same: chase smart, chase hard, and never back down from the core.

Updraft operates with a high-risk, data-first mentality — but safety and vehicle integrity always come first. These are our official chase rules and thresholds for both Updraft Unit I (F-150 Interceptor) and Unit II (Tundra Probe Truck).
Unit I (Primary Interceptor) is built to take a hit — reinforced suspension, custom tires, mesonet sensors, and chassis stabilization help it hold position under intense wind loads.
Unit II (Support & Probing) stays in flanking position, deploying probes and monitoring conditions from the rear.
We chase up close, but not recklessly. Getting the shot means nothing if we don’t live to review it.
Threat Level
Wind Speed (MPH)
Vehicle Response
Action Taken
Caution Zone
70–90
Light rocking, stable ride
Hold position
Redline Zone
90–110
Vehicle begins to sway, wind shear rises
Monitor subvorts, probe ready
Limit Zone
110–130
Control is reduced, mesonet strain
Stay low, prepare for retreat
Critical
130+
Dangerous instability, rollover risk
"THIS IS BAD. DRIVE DRIVE." Evac!
Lethal
160–180+ (Subvort)
Possible chassis failure, loss of control
Survive if you can. Don't aim for it.
Never enter the vortex — intercept the edge, not the core.
Reverse routes must be planned before stopping.
Chase ends when visibility is lost.
If hail exceeds 4 inches, reposition immediately.
Probes should be dropped with wind speeds under 115 MPH — any higher, they risk being ripped out.
We only engage when road access is clear and paved.
Cross flooded roads
Drive through downed power lines
Push the 130+ threshold intentionally
Chase at night without radar lock
Chase for likes over data
