An entire Full House of Nerds are getting absorbed by TCS! The Merger

You read that right. Full House of Nerds has been acquired by TCS. I’m good friends with Hunter Reynolds, one of the two heads of Full House of Nerds, and we along with the second studio head, Caroline Kelly have decided that it was a good idea for Team Canaveral Studios to absorb Full House of Nerds.

This lateral move was made to benefit both studios immensely. Combining the studios will quadruple our output and help us to create better comics with more power. On top of that, Full House of Nerds will continue their multimedia projects such as short films and comic dubs. In the future, they will produce multimedia projects for current TCS publications like GoldDiggers, Inc!

As for Team Canaveral Studios, we will take reign of the comics being created under Full House of Nerds, with the intention of having them all under one banner. Instead of minor success across two brands, we can have a larger success under one.

TLDR; Team Canaveral Studios will focus completely on creating some fire comics, while Full House of Nerds produces their own nifty short films and comic dubs. 

Hey Kids… Comics!!

Now that the business stuff is taken care of, let’s get what you really care about squared away… comics!

The biggest announcement this month is DEAR PARKER!! This feel-good slice of life comic about a college student with social anxiety rivaling only my own will go live on Tapas and GlobalComix on July 23rd. New strips go up every other Wednesday on both platforms! The creative team is as listed below, however we will see guest artists and colorists as time goes by. In addition, Hunter wants everyone to know that various "Dear Parker" art pieces in collaboration with various artists (including myself) will be released starting from tomorrow to Wednesday, to celebrate the release of the first strip!

Next up, GOLDDIGGERS, INC! #5 releases on August 13th. This wraps up our two part “Last Rites” storyline. This was supposed to be the second part of three, but I realized that the pacing would have been outrageously off. So, you’re getting one 34 page special. Will Jack and Dakota get Junpei to his destination?! Find out! In addition, GOLDDIGGERS, INC! #6: “ANGLES” releases September 10th. More on that soon.

Also, the GDI: Digs! strip will continue to be released weekly on Sundays until at least August 31st. All GoldDiggers, Inc! And Digs! comics will be uploaded to Tapas at a later date.

Final announcement: the world of GoldDiggers, Inc! will be expanded soon, with a new one-shot by writer Hunter Reynolds and artist Max Simon. Not to sound like a broken record, but… more on that soon.

This is a great day for TCS! I’m excited to show you more, because there is so much more. But you will have to wait… the worst thing to do is make promises and be unable to keep them. So I will leave you with one promise– this merger was a great idea.
