About Us

What We Do

FRC or First Robotics Competition, is a series of Robotics competitions run by First Robotics. We compete in these FRC events against other student run teams. The goal of the competitions is to use our resources to create robots that can do tasks which in turn gives us points.

We would love to have you join, especially since no prior experience is required. Everyone is welcome!

Mission Statement

Our club's purpose is to teach students real-world STEM skills by preparing for and participating in competitive and collaborative robotics competitions, mainly through the FIRST organization. For the first semester of the school year, our club focuses on teaching different engineering principles to our members in mechanical and electrical engineering, and programming. In the second semester of the school year, we design, build, and program a robot to compete in annual FIRST Robotics Competitions in the local area (FRC), in which we are presented a new scenario and challenges each year. As a team, we follow the entire engineering design process from being presented a problem, to pitching and finalizing a robot design, to prototyping, building, and modifying a robot that we compete in the competitions. We hope that students will have fun working as a team and gaining hands-on engineering experience!
