All the packing! 

Yes, some people go to Alaska with nothing, others take ALL the things.  I'm somewhere in the middle I guess.  I am trying not to bring more than I need.  I have gotten rid of SO MUCH STUFF, but I still have so much.  Of course I want to keep all the memories from my babies and my life!  I did rent a U-Box (from UHAUL) and it is FULL!  I think its 60% books, 30% shoes, and whatever is left is photos...  ha ha ha.... 

I plan to have it shipped to Alaska next month, where it will stay in storage.  I will be able to access it as needed though so that is a plus.  

The rest of my belonging have been spread amongst ~100 boxes and shipped to Alaska, where they are patiently waiting in my duplex unit. 

I think I am mostly done with the packing now. I keep finding a few things here and there, so I have a misc box (opposed to a misc drawer...).  Unpacking should be fun since I didn't label anything....  🙄

When I go to the airport Thursday, I will have 3 large suitcases, 1 carryone, 1 bookbag, and 1 LARGE dog crate (with a dog in it!).  I am ready for this next chapter in my life and for the experiences I will soon have!
