This Privacy Policy explains how Teacher Record Book Generator ("the app") handles your information.
The app does not require an account or login and does not use analytics. Information you enter is stored locally on your device and includes:
Teacher information: name, job title, PPR number, grade and step, appointment dates, phone number, email address, postal address, qualifications, and profile photo.
School information: school name, academy, and provincial directorate.
Class information: class names, levels, timetables, colors, and page settings.
Student information: names, Massar numbers, gender, and dates of birth when imported.
Record book information: settings and content associated with the record books you create.
This information remains in the app's private storage. We do not have access to it, receive it, or share it with third parties. The app does not upload or back up this information to our servers.
Student information is not transmitted by the app. It may appear in PDF files generated on your device, which you control and may share yourself.
The app includes an optional feature that can read class names and time slots from a photograph of a printed timetable.
When you choose to use this feature, the selected image is sent through an encrypted connection to our processing service, which uses Google's Gemini API to analyze the timetable. The extracted information is then returned to the app.
The image is processed only when you initiate a scan and is not intentionally stored by our processing service.
This feature is intended for timetables only. Do not use it to scan documents containing student or other sensitive personal information.

If you do not use the timetable scanning feature, the app does not make network requests for this purpose.
The app contains the Google AdMob SDK to support potential advertising. Advertising is currently disabled, and the SDK is not initialized for ad serving. Therefore, no advertising-related data is currently collected through the app.

Internet: used for the optional timetable photo scanning feature.
Photos / Photo Picker: used when you select a timetable image or profile photo. The app receives only the file you choose and does not browse your entire photo library.
The app is designed for teachers and is not directed at children. Teachers may enter or import information about their students, but this information remains on the teacher's device and is not transmitted by the app, except where the teacher explicitly uses the timetable scanning feature.
Teachers are responsible for using and handling student information in accordance with applicable school policies and laws, including Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data.
Because the information entered into the app is stored locally on your device and is not collected by us, you control it directly.
You can edit or delete information within the app. Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data, subject to your device's normal storage and backup behavior.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features or data practices change. Any updated version will be published at this address, and the "Last updated" date will be changed accordingly.
