What is Teacher for a Day?

It's my BRZ17 Google Innovator Project. I wanted to empower our English as a Foreign Language students by having them be teachers for one day. We could feel that students nowadays come to us, an English language institute, no longer because they know nothing of English, but because they need a certificate, or need to become better speakers of the language. In order to acknowledge these students' kowledge of the language we invite them to be Teacher for a day.

Students were then invited to teach a class on a any given topic of their interest, as long as they were in English. The classes were open to anyone: friends, classmates, parents, teachers, coordinators, branch managers etc. If you want to check some of the classes that happened in 2018, visit the "amostra de aulas" page, click on the pictures so you can check out some pictures and videos of the classes.
