Smoking Policy (Version A)

A) Smoking is not permitted by law in the pavilion or changing rooms because they are buildings open to members of the public.

B) Prohibition of smoking was extended to cover the verandas and steps of the pavilion (following advice from our insurers) and also the greens and their surrounding banks by motion of the management meeting on 06/12/2011.

C) Smoking is therefore only permitted on the paths surrounding the greens or whilst sitting on the benches around the greens. Sand buckets for cigarette ends may normally be found near the benches.
