Monday, May 19th and Tuesday, May 20th (TCHS Cafeteria)
4:30pm: Stretch/Warm Up (please arrive for tryouts EARLY so there are no delays with getting checked in by the athletic trainers. We will be STARTING at 4:30pm)
4:45pm: Group stretch and warm up
5:00pm: Material Review (REMEMBER you are responsible for learning the fight song and cheers PRIOR to tryouts, videos will be available.
5:15pm: Tumbling
Tumbling will be warmed up as a group in stretch tumbling format (starting with handstand forward rolls and working up to elite tumbling skills)
Running tumbling must be thrown out of a power round off or two-step round off only.
Athletes will be asked to perform a cartwheel rebound, cartwheel back handspring, or cartwheel tuck during stretch tumbling.
5:45pm: Stunting
We will begin the stunting portion by allowing the athletes to work in any groups they may have already been practicing with but will be moving girls in to various groups throughout to show versatility.
Please be flexible as the coaches may ask you to try a stunt position that you did not select on your tryout application
6:30pm: Tryout Concludes

All athletes will begin evaluations by demonstrating their highest running tumbling skill.
Athletes will try out in groups of three based on their tryout numbers (alphabetically, seniors to freshmen)
The athletes will spirit in to their places and perform each of the following when prompted:
Toe Touch
Additional jump of choice
Highest Standing tumbling ****IF you selected something higher than a standing tuck on your application, we will ask to see your standing tuck in addition. For example, those who selected a standing backhand spring tuck will also be asked to show their standing tuck****
Highest Running tumbling
Flyers will be asked to show their body positions (right and left heel stretch, left scorpion, scale, and arabesque)

Plain white t-shirt TUCKED IN to black or purple athletic shorts, athletic shoes and socks, hair secured away from the face with a bow in school colors (purple, black, or white) and neutral yet performance-ready makeup.
