Titahi Bay North School children love their sports. They play a range of games including netball, rugby, soccer, ki o rahi and they go swimming, practice golf and have a go at a range of various sports and games through the Porirua schools sports fixtures.

With the very spacious grounds we have and numerous hard court areas our playtimes and lunchtimes are filled with all manner of great games being played.

We were very sad when Rugby icon, and one of Porirua's favourite sons, Jerry Collins was killed in a tragic accident in France. We had tributes for him at school.

On Wednesday 21st June 2017 TBNS sent four teams to the Porirua Interschool Netball tournament held at Mungavin Courts in Porirua. All TBNS teams were exemplary with their behaviour and respect shown at the tournament. There were two Year 3/4 teams, one Year 5/6 team and one Year 7/8 team. When the opportunity arose, the TBNS teams that weren’t playing, supported the TBNS teams that were. A massive congratulations to all our students and their efforts when playing during the tournament. They represented our kura superbly. Here the teams are:-
