I had the privilege of designing the Salish Moon Enamel Pin, part of the Snoqualmie Artist Collection by Eighth Generation. This design is a visual celebration of the deep cultural significance of the moon in the Salish and Snoqualmie traditions, symbolizing cycles of renewal, guidance, and the connection between the natural world and the spiritual realm. Drawing from traditional motifs and contemporary design sensibilities, I crafted a pin that is both visually striking and rich in meaning. This collaboration with Eighth Generation allowed me to contribute to their mission of empowering Native artists while sharing and preserving indigenous cultural narratives in a modern, accessible way. The Salish Moon pin is now available for purchase on their website, offering a beautiful piece of wearable art that reflects the strength and wisdom of Native traditions.
