Studio Art. Ages 8-12

Projects emphasize observation (looking closely, drawing what you see), storytelling (developing ideas and images), and longer project arcs that allow for revision and refinement. Students practice composition, color, and technique while learning how to plan a project from sketch to finished piece. The tone is focused but encouraging, with room for experimentation and personal voice.
