TAXILY is committed to data protection and privacy.
The users (drivers) of the TAXILY service grant their consent for the processing of personal data before submitting the registration form.
A TAXILY user’s disclosure of his geographical location data is a precondition for using TAXILY service. We only collect and process personal data of taxi drivers to the extent necessary for verifying the driver’s qualifications for pursuing this professional activity and safeguarding the contractual relations associated with the TAXILY service.
We explain below how TAXILY collects and uses personal data with the TAXILY DRIVER app.

1. What personal data we collect and process?

• Name, telephone number of the user;

• Geographical location of the user, the time of provision of taxi service, and the destination;

• Identification data of the device on which the TAXILY DRIVER app has been installed;

• Calls may also be monitored or recorded for quality assurances purposes.
  
  
  

2. The purpose of collecting personal data

• We collect phone number for purpose of authentication and for contacting users directly.

• We collect geographical location of the user for the purpose of matching up a request with the closest users (drivers).

• We use the personal data of the user to resolve any service quality issues.

• The personal data collected via the TAXILY DRIVER app will not be used for identification of persons or their locations, nor for the purpose of any type of marketing.

3. The method of collecting personal data

• We collect data on the names, telephone numbers of users after the user chooses to submit a registration form on TAXILY DRIVER App.

• We only collect data on the geographic location if the user (drivers) chooses to switch on the service.

• The collection of geographic location data stops when the user chooses to switch off the service. We are using a relatively large toggle button to allow the user to opt in and out.

4. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

• We will not disclose the personal data or geographic locations of TAXILY DRIVER users to any third parties or public authorities, except if the person requesting data has a legal basis for doing so pursuant to the legislation of the country of location.

5. Security and deletion of data

• Any personal data collected in the course of providing the TAXILY service is stored in the Firebase data centers (West Europe). Only authorized employees of TAXILY have access to the personal data and they may access the data only for the purpose of resolving issues associated with the use of the TAXILY service;

6. Changes

• This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. These updates, will take effect from the date of issue. Please check back regularly for the latest updates.
