This Privacy Policy explains how Tawus Local AI, provided by Rotinda Dağ ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use the Tawus Local AI Android application (the "App").

Tawus Local AI is designed to operate locally on your device. AI model inference and chat processing are performed on-device. We do not operate a backend server for AI inference, analytics, telemetry, user accounts, or chat storage.

1. INFORMATION THE APP COLLECTS

The App does not collect personal information and does not send your chats, prompts, AI responses, model data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, analytics data, crash reports, or usage statistics to us.

The App does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, telemetry SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs.

The App does not require you to create an account and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, payment card information, precise location, contacts, or purchase history through the App.

2. LOCAL DATA AND ON-DEVICE PROCESSING

AI inference and chat processing are performed locally on your device. Information that is processed locally by the App is not transmitted to us.

Any information that the App stores locally on your device, such as conversations, settings, or other app data, remains on your device. You can remove locally stored app data using the controls available in the App or Android, including clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App, as applicable.

3. OPTIONAL INTERNET FEATURES

Tawus Local AI includes optional features that access the internet only when you choose to use them.

Web Search

When you use the web-search feature, the App sends the search request directly from your device to a third-party search service. The request does not pass through a Tawus Local AI server, and we do not receive, log, or store the search query.

The third-party search service may receive information that is normally transmitted when connecting to an internet service, such as your IP address, request data, and browser or network information. The third party's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy practices.

URL Fetching and Web Content

When you ask the App to open, fetch, or process content from a URL, your device connects directly to the requested website using Android's system web/browser components. The request does not pass through a Tawus Local AI server, and we do not receive, log, or store the requested URL or the content returned by the website.

The website you visit or fetch content from may receive information normally transmitted during an internet connection, including your IP address, browser or device information, cookies, and the contents of requests you send to that website. The website's own privacy policy and terms apply to that activity.

Using an optional internet feature therefore involves communication with the third-party service or website that you choose to access, even though Tawus Local AI itself does not collect that information.

4. PAYMENTS

If you purchase Tawus Local AI through Google Play, the purchase and payment process is handled by Google Play. We do not collect or process your payment card or bank account information through the App.

Google may process purchase and transaction information in accordance with Google's own privacy practices and terms.

5. INFORMATION YOU VOLUNTARILY SEND TO US

The App itself does not collect your personal information. However, if you choose to contact us by email, we will receive the information you voluntarily include in your message, such as your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to send.

We use this information only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide support, handle privacy inquiries, protect our legal rights, or comply with applicable law.

Email communications may also be processed by the email providers used by you and by us in order to deliver and store the communication.

6. DATA SHARING AND SALE

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share App-generated chat data, prompts, AI responses, analytics, telemetry, or usage data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or other third parties because we do not collect that information.

When you intentionally use an optional internet feature, information is sent directly from your device to the third-party service or website you requested, as explained in Section 3. This is necessary to perform the feature you requested and does not involve transmission through our servers.

7. DATA RETENTION

Because we do not collect or store App usage data, chat data, prompts, AI responses, analytics, telemetry, or similar information on our servers, we do not maintain a retention period for such information.

If you contact us by email, we may retain the communication for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, protect our legal rights, or comply with legal obligations. We may delete communications when they are no longer needed.

8. SECURITY

Tawus Local AI is designed to minimize privacy risks by processing AI requests locally rather than transmitting them to a developer-operated server.

Data stored on your device is also subject to the security protections, settings, backups, and access controls of your Android device. No device, software, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

When you use an optional internet feature, the security and privacy of the connection to the relevant third-party service or website also depends on that service, website, your network, and your device configuration.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Tawus Local AI does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. Because the App does not operate user accounts, analytics, telemetry, or developer-operated chat servers, we do not knowingly maintain personal information about child users through the App.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has voluntarily sent personal information to us through a support or privacy email, they may contact us and request that the information be deleted, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it.

10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide rights concerning personal information, such as rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability.

For information processed only on your device by Tawus Local AI, we do not possess a server-side copy that we can access, correct, or delete. You control locally stored App data through the App and your Android device.

If you have voluntarily contacted us and believe we hold personal information contained in that communication, you may contact us to exercise any rights available to you under applicable law. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

Residents of jurisdictions including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and applicable U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under their local laws. Because Tawus Local AI does not collect personal information through the App, many of these rights will generally not apply to App usage data held by us because we do not possess such data.

11. DO-NOT-TRACK AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

The App does not use advertising trackers, analytics trackers, tracking pixels, or similar technologies operated by us.

Because Tawus Local AI does not track your activity across third-party apps or websites, there is no Tawus Local AI cross-site or cross-app tracking profile to opt out of.

Third-party websites or services opened through optional internet features may have their own cookies, tracking technologies, and privacy controls. Their policies apply to those services.

12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Tawus Local AI does not transmit App usage data, chats, prompts, or AI responses to servers operated by us, so we do not perform international transfers of that App data.

If you contact us by email or use a third-party internet service from within the App, the relevant email provider, website, search provider, or other service may process information in other countries under its own privacy practices.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or our privacy practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was most recently revised.

If we introduce features that materially change how personal information is collected or processed, such as developer-operated cloud AI, accounts, analytics, telemetry, advertising, or server-side storage, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
