Welcome to my homepage! I am a Computer Science MSc student at The University of British Columbia, Vancouver. I have completed B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My research interests lie broadly in the domain of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML).

My research goal is to develop and apply natural language processing and machine learning for natural language understanding, language modeling, and social networks analysis.

  • 12 March, 2021: Our research paper titled "A Benchmark Study of Machine Learning Models for Online Fake News Detection" has been accepted for publication at Elsevier Machine Learning with Applications.

  • 22 December, 2020: Our research paper titled "Automatic Detection of Five API Documentation Smells: Practitioners’ Perspectives" has been accepted in SANER 2021 (Acceptance rate: 25%).

  • 23 October, 2020: Our research paper titled "Obesity in Qatar: A Case-Control Study on the Identification of Associated Risk Factors" has been accepted for publication in the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence section of MDPI Diagnostics Journal.

  • 07 September, 2020: Our research paper titled "Toward Preparing a Knowledge Base to Explore Potential Drugs and Biomedical Entities Related to COVID-19: Automated Computational Approach" got accepted in JMIR Medical Informatics Journal.

  • 05 September, 2020: Our research paper titled "Agree-to-Disagree (A2D): A Deep Learning-Based Framework for Authorship Discrimination Task in Corpus-Specificity Free Manner" has been accepted in IEEE Access Journal.

  • 23 June, 2019: I am joining as a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.

  • 28 April, 2019: I have officially completed my B.Sc. (with Honours) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). A journey to remember!
