WormWatcher robotic systems
WormWatcher robotic systems
Autonomously monitor the activity of worms in up to 120 multiwell plates for hours, days, or months.
Autonomously monitor the activity of worms in up to 120 multiwell plates for hours, days, or months.
Plates are arranged on a large tray and never directly handled by the robot, reducing exposure to unwanted stimuli
Several footprint sizes are available offering variable capacity
An optional blue LED illumination system helps determine whether worms are responsive to stimuli
The illumination and imaging system travels to each plate in series to record the collective activity of the worms in each well
Activity can be analyzed live and is exported to standard spreadsheet formats. Collective activity curves can be used to estimate the mean lifespan and healthspan of each population
A user-friendly interface makes it easy to organize and customize experiments
