The Delphic Fraternity, also known as Gamma Sigma Tau, stands as one of the nation’s oldest independent fraternities and proudly holds the distinction of being the first official multicultural fraternity established on the East Coast of the United States.
It is dedicated to fostering self-awareness and personal growth among its members, grounded in the principle of the Delphic maxim "know thyself," while empowering brothers to excel academically, cultivate professional excellence, and develop strong and resilient characters.
The Tau Beta Professional Graduate Chapter of Delphic was formed in 2014 to represent the Washington, D.C. area. In 2025, it expanded its reach to encompass the states of Delaware and Maryland.
The graduate chapter offers a distinct pathway for individuals who seek a meaningful connection to the fraternity’s ideals and community while no longer enrolled in an institution of higher learning. Designed for professionals, leaders, and visionaries beyond the undergraduate experience, graduate membership provides an opportunity to engage in networking, mentorship, and service at a deeper level. Graduate chapters create a stronghold for shared ambition and collaborative success, reinforcing the fraternity’s legacy in the real world.
