About me

I am an economist with an interest in political economy, gender economics, and health economics. I have a strong research background and a proven record of publications. Currently, I am in my 4th year of pursuing a PhD in economics at University College Dublin, under the supervision of Dr Kanika Kapur

My thesis comprises three papers in applied microeconomics. The first two papers analyze Russia's dynamic economic landscape over the past two decades. The choice of this topic is motivated by the unfolding war in Ukraine and aims to explain why so many Russians choose to support aggression and Putin's regime from an economic perspective. I examine:

The last chapter of my thesis explores the impact of the 4 Day Week global campaign on the gender gap in household responsibilities. This chapter is a product of collaboration among researchers from UCD, Boston College, and Cambridge University. For almost two years, I served as a research assistant on the 4 Day Week Ireland project.
