This Privacy Policy describes how Beef ("the App") handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect
   Beef does not collect or store personal information directly. However, the App uses third-party services (such as Firebase by Google and Yandex AppMetrica SDK) which may automatically collect certain technical and usage-related data.

2. Data Stored Locally
   The App stores the following data only on your device:

• Your best score (high score) — via Android DataStore

• Sound and music volume settings — via Android DataStore

• App configuration data (button settings) — via SharedPreferences

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted or shared by the App.

3. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google LLC):

• Firebase Analytics — collects aggregated and anonymized data such as app usage, session duration, device model, operating system version, and general interaction events. This data does not directly identify users.

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — used to deliver push notifications. FCM may use a device-specific token to ensure message delivery. This token does not identify you personally.

Yandex AppMetrica SDK:

• The Yandex AppMetrica SDK may collect device information and app event data (such as app installs and launches) for analytics and attribution purposes.

• The App does not send personally identifiable information to Yandex.

• The App does not use Yandex AppMetrica SDK for personalized advertising or ad targeting.

Advertising Identifier (AD_ID):

• The App may access the Android advertising identifier (AD_ID), including via android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, strictly for analytics and attribution purposes.

• This identifier is not used for personalized advertising or cross-app user tracking.

• Users can reset or disable this identifier at any time through their device settings.

All third-party services process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

4. Internet Access
   The App requires an internet connection to:

• Load remote configuration from Firebase Firestore

• Receive push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging

• Enable analytics and attribution via Firebase and Yandex AppMetrica SDK

The App itself does not transmit personally identifiable user data.

5. Device Permissions
   Beef requests the following permissions:

• INTERNET — required for network communication with Firebase and Yandex services

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — required to display push notifications (Android 13+, optional)

• android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID — used strictly for analytics and attribution

The App does not access:

• Camera or microphone

• Location data (GPS)

• Contacts or call logs

• External storage

6. Children's Privacy
   The App is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security
   The App does not store personal data on its own servers. Third-party services (such as Firebase and Yandex AppMetrica SDK) are responsible for securing the data they process. Locally stored data (such as scores and settings) remains on the user's device.

8. Changes to This Policy
   We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
