TaskMate is a productivity app designed to help users manage tasks, notes, reminders, habits, focus sessions, location reminders, widgets, backup, and app settings.
This Privacy Policy explains how TaskMate handles user data.
TaskMate may store the following information locally on your device:
Tasks, notes, checklists, categories, priorities, due dates, and reminders
Habit tracking progress and focus timer history
Location reminder information selected by the user
Backup and restore data created by the user
App settings such as theme, reminder sound, vibration, privacy lock, and widget preferences
Image or voice attachment references selected by the user
TaskMate does not require users to create an account.
TaskMate may request location permission only for the Location Reminders feature.
Location data is used to remind you when you arrive at or leave a saved place. Location information is processed on your device for reminder purposes.
TaskMate does not sell your location data.
If background location is enabled by the user, TaskMate may use background location permission to provide reminders even when the app is closed. This feature is optional and can be disabled in the app settings.
TaskMate may use voice input features to help users create tasks or notes. Voice input may use Android system speech recognition.
If the user attaches a voice note or audio file, the selected file reference may be stored locally in the app.
TaskMate uses notifications to remind users about tasks, notes, habits, focus sessions, and location reminders. Notification permissions are used only for user-created reminders and app productivity alerts.
Most TaskMate data is stored locally on the user’s device. This includes tasks, notes, habits, reminders, focus history, app settings, and private note settings.
Users can delete app data from within the app or through Android system settings.
TaskMate allows users to export and import backup files or CSV files. These files are created only when the user chooses to export or import data.
Users are responsible for where they save or share exported backup files.
TaskMate may show ads using Google AdMob or similar advertising services. TaskMate is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
TaskMate includes optional app lock and private note features. Users can protect the app or private notes using PIN or biometric unlock where supported by the device.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but TaskMate is designed to keep user productivity data under user control.

Enable or disable reminders
Enable or disable background location reminders
Enable or disable habit and focus notifications
Export or delete app data
Change permissions through Android settings
