Privacy Policy for Tartarus Keeper
Last updated: 2026
Tartarus Keeper is a single-player mythology strategy game. It is built to be played quietly, on its own, without asking anything of you beyond your attention. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with information.
The short version
The app has no servers of its own, no login, and no interest in who you are. Everything you shape inside the realm stays on the device in your hands.
What we do not gather
We do not ask for a name, an email, or an account of any kind. We do not track how you play, how long you play, or where you are. There are no third-party analytics libraries, no advertising identifiers, and no hidden network calls made to profile you. The game does not read your contacts, photos, or location.
Where your realm lives
Your bound spirits, ritual records, event history, achievements, snapshots, and settings are written only to Tartarus Keeper's private storage on your device. That container belongs to the app alone. It never leaves the device, and we have no way to reach into it. If you keep a device backup through your own iCloud or computer, your save may be included in that backup under Apple's terms, not ours.
Removing everything
Because nothing is held on our side, there is nothing for us to erase for you. Two paths clear your data: the "Dissolve the Realm" option inside the archive resets the game to its first hour, and deleting the app removes its private container entirely. Either action is final.
Young keepers
Tartarus Keeper is written for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, children included, because we do not collect information at all.
Updates to this notice
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, the text here will be revised and the date at the top will move forward. Continued play after a revision reflects the current version.
