This Privacy Policy explains how AI Tarot & Oracle Deck Builder ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. We only collect the absolute minimum data required for the App to function.
What data we collect: The text prompts, keywords, descriptions, and artistic style choices you enter into the App to describe your desired tarot or oracle card design.
How we collect it: Directly from you when you type text into the generation field and select a style option within the App.
What data we collect: "Add-only" (write-only) permission to your device's photo gallery.
How we collect it: Through a system-level permission request prompt if you tap the "Save" button on a generated image.
Important Note: We DO NOT read, scan, upload, or access your existing personal photos. The permission is strictly used to save the newly generated tarot card image to your local device.
We use the information we collect strictly for the following purposes:
To Generate AI Artwork: Your text prompts are processed to visually render the requested tarot and oracle card designs.
To Improve Prompts: Your text may be automatically expanded with descriptive keywords to ensure high-quality visual results.
To Save Content: To save the final generated image directly to your local device gallery (if you explicitly grant photo permission).
We do not use your text prompts to identify you personally, and we do not sell your data to marketing agencies or third-party advertisers.
To generate high-quality AI images, our App relies on external, industry-leading Artificial Intelligence providers.
Disclosure of Data Transmission: By using the core generation features in our App, your Text Prompts (and only your text prompts) are transmitted to the following specific third-party AI services:
Who the data is sent to: OpenAI, L.L.C.
What data is sent: Your raw text prompt and selected style name.
Why it is sent: To grammatically enhance and expand your short description into a detailed, professional image-generation prompt.
Who the data is sent to: Replicate, Inc. (hosting Black Forest Labs models).
What data is sent: The enhanced text prompt describing the tarot card.
Why it is sent: To visually render and generate the actual image of the tarot card based on the text.
We confirm that the third-party AI services we share data with (OpenAI and Replicate) provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy. Furthermore, no personal identifiers (such as your name, email, device ID, location, or IP address) are attached to the text prompts sent to these AI providers.
In strict compliance with App Store Guidelines regarding third-party AI data sharing:
Before any of your data is ever transmitted to OpenAI or Replicate, you are presented with a mandatory AI Data Notice modal within the App.
This notice explicitly identifies who the data will be sent to (OpenAI and Replicate) and what data will be sent (your text prompts).
You must explicitly tap the "I Agree & Continue" button to grant your affirmative permission before any data is collected or sent. If you decline, no data is sent and the AI features remain inactive.
Retention: We do not store your text prompts or generated images on our own servers. Images are generated via third-party APIs and downloaded directly to your local device.
Security: Data transmitted between the App and the third-party AI services is fully encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from your child, please contact us so we can take immediate action to delete it.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or App Store requirements. If we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app alert or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
