This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Target Tracer mobile application, referred to below as the “App.”

Target Tracer is designed to analyse shooting targets from photographs, recorded videos and live camera images.
The App does not require users to create an account. We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, postal addresses, telephone numbers, contact lists, precise location data or payment card details through the App.
The App does not display personalised advertising and does not use the Android Advertising ID.
The App does not use behavioural analytics services. Technical crash reporting may be used exclusively to identify, diagnose and resolve software errors.
Target images, photographs, videos and live camera images are processed locally on the user’s device for target recognition, shot detection, scoring and related App functions.
The App does not upload target photographs, target videos, live camera images or scoring results to our servers for AI processing.
Photos and videos selected or created by the user remain on the user’s device unless the user independently chooses to export or share them through functionality provided by the device or operating system.
The App may request access to the camera or to photographs and videos selected by the user. This access is used only to provide the requested target-analysis functionality.
The App may automatically transmit technical crash reports when an error or unexpected termination occurs.
Depending on the operating system, device configuration and crash-reporting implementation, a crash report may contain:
the date and time of the crash;
the App version and build number;
the Android version;
the device manufacturer and device model;
stack traces and error messages;
technical information about the state of the App at the time of the crash;
memory, processor or performance information;
an installation-scoped or pseudonymous technical identifier; and
other technical diagnostic information directly related to the crash.
Crash reports are not intended to contain target photographs, videos, scoring results, names, email addresses, contact information, precise location data or advertising identifiers.
We do not use crash-reporting information to create advertising profiles, track users across different apps or websites, deliver personalised advertising or analyse individual user behaviour.
Crash reports and technical diagnostic data are processed solely to:
identify software defects;
investigate crashes and technical malfunctions;
improve the stability, reliability and compatibility of the App;
prevent recurring technical errors; and
maintain the security and proper operation of the App.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, technical crash and diagnostic data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Our legitimate interest is to detect and resolve software errors, maintain the security and stability of the App and provide users with a reliable service.
We do not use this data for advertising, marketing or unrelated commercial profiling.
Crash reports may be processed by a technical crash-reporting or hosting service provider acting on our behalf.
Such providers may process technical information only as necessary to provide crash-reporting, hosting, security or diagnostic services and in accordance with applicable contractual and data-protection obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
We do not disclose crash-reporting data to advertisers, data brokers or other third parties for their own advertising, marketing or profiling purposes.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, a binding legal obligation, a court order or a lawful request from a competent public authority.
Depending on the infrastructure used by our technical service providers, diagnostic information may be processed in countries outside the European Economic Area.
If and to the extent that personal data is transferred to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, the transfer will be based on legally recognised safeguards where required, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Technical crash reports are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate software errors, improve App stability, maintain security and verify that identified problems have been resolved.
The applicable retention period may depend on the severity of the error, whether the issue remains unresolved and the configured retention settings of the crash-reporting provider.
Crash reports that are no longer required for these purposes are deleted, anonymised or automatically removed in accordance with the applicable retention configuration and legal requirements.
Local photographs, videos, analysis results, settings and logbook data remain under the user’s control on the device. They can generally be removed by deleting them within the App, clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App, depending on the relevant functionality and Android configuration.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
Where technical data is transmitted, we use or require service providers to use appropriate transport security measures. Access to diagnostic information is restricted to persons and service providers who require it for technical maintenance, security or error diagnosis.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The App does not display third-party advertising.
The App does not use personal data for personalised advertising, cross-app tracking, marketing attribution or advertising measurement.
The App does not intentionally access or use the Android Advertising ID.
The App does not use behavioural or marketing analytics services to evaluate how individual users interact with the App.
Technical crash reports are used only for software diagnostics, stability monitoring and error correction. They are not used to build user profiles or analyse users for advertising or marketing purposes.
If the App offers paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed by Google Play under Google’s own terms and privacy practices.
We do not receive or store complete payment card or bank account details. We may receive limited transaction-related information from Google Play, such as whether a purchase was completed, the purchased product, the transaction status or information required to verify access to paid features.
Google is independently responsible for the processing of payment information within Google Play.
The App is not specifically designed for or directed at children.
We do not knowingly request or collect directly identifying personal information from children through the App.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that the matter can be investigated and appropriate action can be taken.
Where applicable under data-protection law, users may have the right to:
request access to personal data concerning them;
request correction of inaccurate personal data;
request deletion of personal data;
request restriction of processing;
object to processing based on legitimate interests;
receive certain personal data in a portable format; and
lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
Because the App does not use user accounts and crash reports are generally pseudonymous, technical or aggregated, we may not always be able to associate a specific crash report with a particular individual.
Where we cannot reasonably identify the information relating to a requesting person, we may require additional information or may be technically unable to fulfil a request relating to a specific crash report.
Users may prevent future App-generated crash reports by uninstalling the App. Previously submitted reports may remain until the applicable retention period expires.
Where processing is based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
We will stop the relevant processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing or the processing is required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Crash reports and technical diagnostic data are not used to make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning users.
The App’s target scoring and shot-recognition functions are technical analysis functions and are not used to make legal, employment, insurance, credit or other similarly significant decisions about individuals.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its technical infrastructure, applicable legal requirements or data-processing practices change.
The current version will be made available through the App, the Google Play Store listing or the official website used for the App’s privacy information.
The effective date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last updated.
Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required by applicable law.
