To use the Python programming lessons, you will need to sign up on Microsoft Azure Notebooks. To signup and start working on the first lesson, follow the guide below.
Go to the first lesson’s link: https://notebooks.azure.com/marcom/projects/target-python-lesson1
Click on “Clone"
3. You will be redirected to a login page, use your Fermilab username followed by “@services.fnal.gov”
It is possible to sign in with any Microsoft account but we recommend to use your Fermilab credentials
4. Use your Fermilab username and your Services password to login
5. Once you have logged in, your account will then connect to Microsoft Azure Notebooks, click Yes to the permissions question
6. You then should be redirected back to the Clone page, leave the checkbox marked as public and click “Clone”
7. Once the Library has been cloned, click on “Target2019_Lesson1.ipynub”
8. Once the Notebook server has been created (an automatic process), you should see the notebook and can begin
