What TargetOS is
TargetOS is an archery scoring and practice log app. It is designed to work primarily on your device.
Information we collect
TargetOS does not require an account and does not send your scores to our servers.
Depending on what you enter, the app may store on your device only:
Optional display name
Optional focus line / affirmation
Shooting system preference (U.S. / NFAA or World Archery)
Practice and competition scores, notes, ratings, and equipment nicknames
Photos you choose to take in the app (for example target faces), stored on your device
App settings (for example score bubble, end score display, Mental/Physical toggles)
That data stays in the app’s local storage on your device unless you export it (for example CSV) or save/share a photo yourself.
What we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect:
Precise location for tracking
Contacts, call logs, or SMS
Payment card data inside the app (any purchases go through Google Play)
Advertising IDs for ad networks (TargetOS does not show third-party ads at this time)
Camera
If you use photo features, the app may request camera or photo access so you can capture target faces. Photos stay on your device unless you share them.
Internet use
Core scoring works offline. When you are online, the app may load standard web resources (for example fonts or icons). We do not operate a TargetOS account server that stores your score history.
Children
TargetOS can be used by archers of many ages, including with a coach or parent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. If a coach or parent uses the app with a minor, they should avoid entering unnecessary personal details about the child.
Your choices
Leave name and motto blank
Clear app data or uninstall to remove local data
Turn optional features off in Settings (score bubble, end scores, Mental/Physical)
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share score data with third parties because we do not host it. Google Play may process install, purchase, and crash information under Google’s policies when you use Play.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
