• targeal 2.4G, biggest strength: enormous device compatibility — PC, PS4, PS5, Mac, mobile, Switch, VR and more, with a USB-A-to-USB-C converter included and dual 2.4G / Bluetooth V5.3 modes.
• targeal 2.4G, biggest trade-off: 20 hours of battery life and no headphone jack, so it's wireless-only and you'll charge more often.
• Fachixy Gaming Headset, biggest strength: up to 50 hours of battery life with a 2.5-hour fast charge and a rated ≤20 ms 2.4GHz latency figure.
• Fachixy Gaming Headset, biggest trade-off: no 3.5 mm jack, no Bluetooth with PS4/PS5, and no wireless at all with Xbox Series consoles.
• Pick targeal 2.4G if you game across many devices and want one headset that follows you from PC to console to phone.
• Pick Fachixy Gaming Headset if long sessions and low-latency wireless matter more than plugging into everything.
The targeal 2.4G (model WS-1002) is built around one idea: be the headset that fits whatever you already own. The spec sheet lists compatibility with PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox (with a separately sold adapter), Mac, PSP, DS, Wii, laptop, tablet, iPad, VR and mobile devices. Targeal even throws in a USB-A-to-USB-C converter, so whether your device has a rectangular or oval USB port, you're covered. No drivers, no downloads — plug in and play.
Audio-wise it leans on custom 50 mm high-density neodymium drivers with a 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency range and 3D stereo surround sound. The mic is omnidirectional and retractable — it slides back into the earcup when you're not chatting — and there's a mute button plus noise reduction for cleaner voice pickup. Battery life is rated at 20 hours, and you get two wireless modes: 2.4G and Bluetooth V5.3. One catch worth knowing: you can only run one mode at a time, so you can't be on 2.4G and Bluetooth simultaneously.
Comfort details include protein ear pads, a soft thickened headband, a stretchable band and independently rotating earcups, plus LED lighting. The listed weight is 0.5 kg, and it's an on-ear design in black.
Who should buy it: anyone juggling a console, a PC and a phone who wants one headset to rule the desk. Who should skip it: if you regularly pull all-night sessions or want a wired fallback, the 20-hour battery and lack of a 3.5 mm jack will frustrate you.
The Fachixy FC-300 flips the priorities. Its headline number is battery: up to 50 hours with the LED lights off, and a full charge takes about 2.5 hours. It also gives you a low-battery voice alert once you drop below 10%, which is a genuinely useful touch when you're mid-match and can't see your own battery icon.
On the wireless side, Fachixy rates its 2.4GHz connection at ≤20 ms latency — a concrete figure aimed at people who hate audio lag. You connect two ways: a 2.4GHz USB dongle for PC, PS4 and PS5, or Bluetooth for phones, tablets and Switch. Read the fine print, though: Bluetooth doesn't work with PS4 or PS5, and neither 2.4G nor Bluetooth works with any Xbox Series console. There's no 3.5 mm jack at all here.
The audio package is a 50 mm titanium-plated driver with 32 ohm impedance and the same 20 Hz–20 kHz range, plus spatial audio for positional cues. The mic is AI noise-reduction, and Fachixy notes the Standard version hides the mic while the Pro version has an adjustable one — this listing is the Pro style. It's an over-ear, oval, plastic-bodied headset in blue, weighing 340 g, and it's foldable for travel, with a light strip that reacts to your game. Fachixy also covers it with a 12-month warranty.
Who should buy it: long-session players, Switch and mobile users, and anyone chasing low latency. Who should skip it: Xbox Series owners, and anyone who needs a wired option.
• Best for battery life → Fachixy Gaming Headset. Up to 50 hours versus 20 on the targeal.
• Best for device compatibility → targeal 2.4G. PS5, PS4, PC, Mac, mobile, tablet, VR and more, with a USB-C converter thrown in.
• Best for lowest latency → Fachixy Gaming Headset. It publishes an ≤20 ms rating; targeal doesn't specify one.
• Best for Xbox owners → targeal 2.4G. It supports Xbox with an adapter; Fachixy supports no Xbox Series console at all.
• Best for fast charging → Fachixy Gaming Headset. 2.5 hours to full, versus no charge time listed for targeal.
• Best for desktop and living-room both → targeal 2.4G. The retractable mic and rotating earcups travel between setups more easily.
• Best for travel → Fachixy Gaming Headset. It's foldable and lighter at 340 g versus targeal's 0.5 kg.
• Best for a wired backup → neither. Both are wireless-only with no 3.5 mm jack.
In my opinion, I'd buy the Fachixy Gaming Headset if I were a PC, PS5 or Switch player who games for hours at a time — that 50-hour battery and the ≤20 ms latency figure are the two specs that matter most once you're deep into a session. But if your setup is a mix of console, PC and phone and you want one headset to cover all of it, I'd take the targeal 2.4G instead: the wider compatibility list and the included USB-C converter make it the more flexible pick. Check the current price on Amazon before deciding, since both change often.
Both work with PS5 over 2.4GHz, so neither wins on that alone. Fachixy's Bluetooth mode doesn't support PS4 or PS5, while targeal's Bluetooth V5.3 does. If you want flexibility on PlayStation, targeal has the edge.
How long does the Fachixy Gaming Headset battery last compared to targeal?
No. Fachixy states both 2.4G and Bluetooth modes are incompatible with all Xbox Series consoles. The targeal 2.4G does support Xbox, but you'll need to buy an adapter separately — it isn't included.
They're different approaches. The targeal uses an omnidirectional mic with noise reduction that retracts into the earcup; Fachixy uses an AI noise-reduction mic and, in this Pro version, an adjustable one. Neither spec sheet gives a measurable mic quality figure, so I'd weigh convenience: targeal hides away, Fachixy aims more precisely.
