Hi, my name is Tara Valentine, and I am a student at Saddleback College. I have completed over 95 degree-applicable units across human services, psychology, business, and graphic design, and I am continuing to grow my knowledge with coursework in humanities and creative design.
Through my studies, I’ve built strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and client support, as well as a background in business management, accounting, and computer applications. My human services and psychology courses gave me hands-on understanding of counseling, crisis intervention, and community resources, while my business and accounting classes strengthened my organization and analytical skills. I also enjoy creative work, including graphic design and writing.
I’m especially interested in roles where I can combine these strengths — whether that’s customer support and care, office support, personal assistant work, mental health fields (especially working with the homeless), helpline support, peer support, business management, or creative design work. My passion is working with the homeless and people struggling with addiction. I am a helper by nature, and my aspirations include establishing a nonprofit resource center for victims of human trafficking.
