Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Tarak Nandy, Ph.D. (UM, Malaysia)

TS. DR. TARAK NANDY  received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received the B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as West Bengal, formerly West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India.

Earlier in his career, he was an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India. He pursued his initial research at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, under the supervision of an ISI professor. Since then, he has been an Associate professor with the Information Technology department at Maldives Business School, Male’, Maldives. After that, he was appointed as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Then, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. After that, he served as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science at UCSI University. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology in University of Malaya, Malaysia.  He is the author of many articles. His research interests include Vehicular Networks, Authentication, Cyber Security,  Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. He is an active member of IEEE. Moreover, he is a member of the Communication Society and Sensors Council at IEEE.
