The new Wacom One 12 pen display, now in its second generation, offers photographers an affordable option to the mouse or trackpad, making processing images easy and efficient by editing directly on the screen.

We had an opportunity to shoot a pre-production a9 III camera with global shutter following Sony's announcement this week. This gallery includes images captured with the new 300mm F2.8 GM OSS telephoto lens and some high-speed flash photos.

Before our engagement shoot she took the time to get to know us as a couple and made the engagement session custom to our personalities and our relationship. It was so laid back and an overall an amazing time! You could see the positive energy, good vibes, and fun we had through the images we received.

ArtCenter College of Design is presenting a virtual exhibition of work from the 2020 class of Graduate Art MFA students, titled Fell For Everything. Curated by artist Adam Stamp (MFA 2017), the show opened on September 12 and runs through October 3, 2020. In conjunction with the exhibition, LACMA curator Rita Gonzalez and artist and ArtCenter faculty member Diana Thater asked each of the 12 graduates to select an object from LACMA's collection and reflect on its relationship to their own developing practice. Over the course of the next month, LACMA will be posting the MFAs' texts, along with images of their personal work and the work they chose from LACMA's collection. Their thoughts on these selections provide an overview of their interests and the kinds of art historical conversations they want to have.

What drew me to Rauschenberg's L.A. Uncovered #3 (1998) screenprint was the immediate familiarity I had with the images depicted. Overlapped, segmented, and worn down in appearance, they point to a specific region of Los Angeles, one which "uncovers" a working-class neighborhood. We see here a collage of run-down walls with images of a sign that reads "PLAY HERE," a liquor store ad of painted 7UP and Coke cans, and La Virgen de Guadalupe. La Virgen, in particular, is what denotes the neighborhood class and furthermore, that of a Latino barrio. I grew up with this image in most rooms of my home, a familiar face ever-present throughout the neighborhood.

Juan R. Francisco on the other hand found the conclusion of Beyer regarding the identity of the golden image as questionable. Specifically, he questioned Beyer's assumptions that: (1) "Butuan" means "phallus (the origin of the name "Butuan" is still under discussion); (2) that the king of Butuan, being not a Muslim, should therefore be a Hindu of the Saiva persuasion; (3) that the existence of other Sivaite images discovered among the Mandayas (south of where the Agusan image was discovered) and in Cebu should support his conclusions regarding the female Sivaite goddess identity of the golden statuette. Regarding the last assumption, Francisco pointed out that the identity of the other supposedly "Sivaite" images mentioned by Beyer (all of which were destroyed by the fire that consumed the Ateneo de Manila Museum in the early 1930s) is also questionable, since John Carroll, who examined a photograph of the Cebu image, believed that it is an "Avalokitesvara, not a Siva".[12] Francisco, on the basis of the re-study of the gold statue, believed that it represents a Buddhist Tara.[13]

The Tara Oceans expedition (2009-2013) sampled contrasting ecosystems of the world oceans, collecting environmental data and plankton, from viruses to metazoans, for later analysis using modern sequencing and state-of-the-art imaging technologies. It surveyed 210 ecosystems in 20 biogeographic provinces, collecting over 35,000 samples of seawater and plankton. The interpretation of such an extensive collection of samples in their ecological context requires means to explore, assess and access raw and validated data sets. To address this challenge, the Tara Oceans Consortium offers open science resources, including the use of open access archives for nucleotides (ENA) and for environmental, biogeochemical, taxonomic and morphological data (PANGAEA), and the development of on line discovery tools and collaborative annotation tools for sequences and images. Here, we present an overview of Tara Oceans Data, and we provide detailed registries (data sets) of all campaigns (from port-to-port), stations and sampling events.

Trevor Lefkowitz (Asher Grodman) is starstruck in new images from Season 2 of the hit CBS comedy Ghosts. As previously announced by Deadline, Tara Reid is coming to the manor to attend a remembrance of the former hard-partying businessman after his remains are found in the upcoming episode "Trevor's Body." After hearing about his major crush on Reid since the beginning of the series, the two finally reunite in stills from the episode ahead of its release on February 9.

Other images show everyone gathered for the memorial, but Reid isn't the only guest star on board for this Trevor-centric episode. Laraine Newman and Chip Zien will make appearances as his parents Esther and Lenny Lefkowitz. They pay a visit to Woodstone Mansion once their son's body is found, but when Trevor discovers they've divorced, he hatches a plan with Sam (Rose McIver) to turn the memorial into a "parent trap" to save their marriage. He seems more than happy to see the two of them again as he sits behind them and presents them to everyone around.

Images were obtained by environmental high content fluorescence microscopy (eHCFM; ref. 30), with the exception of Trichodesmium colonies, which were detected in situ using an Underwater Vision Profiler 5 (UVP5; ref. 33). From left to right, the displayed channels for each micrograph correspond to: cell surface (cyan, AlexaFluor 546), cellular membranes (green, DiOC6), chlorophyll autofluorescence (red), the bright field, and the merged channels. The displayed Hemiaulus-Richelia association was detected at station TARA_80 in the South Atlantic Ocean, Rhizosolenia-Richelia at TARA_53 in the Indian Ocean, Chaetoceros-Calothrix at TARA_131 (ALOHA) in the North Pacific Ocean, Climacodium-Croscophaera at TARA_140 in the North Pacific Ocean, the Croscophaera-like colony at TARA_53 in the Indian Ocean, the Trichodesmium filament at TARA_42 in the Indian Ocean, and the Trichodesmium colonies at TARA_141 and TARA_142 in the North Atlantic Ocean. Each micrograph is representative of the following number of images obtained in the current study: 350 Hemiaulus-Richelia, 56 Rhizosolenia-Richelia, 8 Chaetoceros-Calothrix, 1 Climacodium-Crocosphaera, 150 Crocosphaera-like colonies, 605 Trichodesmium-free filaments, 115 puff and 95 tuft colonies of Trichodesmium.
