BOF Postdoctoral Fellow, Ghent Analysis & PDE Center, Ghent University

I am a BOF Postdoctoral Fellow in the Ghent Analysis & PDE Center at Ghent University, working with Prof. Michael Ruzhansky. Since October 2024 I have held an independent BOF fellowship on a research project, and I am one of the lecturers of the M.Sc. course Banach Spaces and Banach Algebras at Ghent. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Bombay in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Sanjoy Pusti; my thesis on Wiener Tauberian theorems and pseudo-differential operators on symmetric spaces received the Naik and Rastogi Award for Excellence in Ph.D. Research. I did my M.Sc. at IIT Kanpur, and before my Ph.D. I was an Assistant Professor at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar.

My research lies at the interface of harmonic analysis and partial differential equations on non-Euclidean spaces. I study how the geometry of spaces such as Riemannian symmetric spaces, Lie groups and homogeneous trees shapes Fourier analysis, functional inequalities and the behaviour of solutions to PDEs.

Research interests:

• Harmonic analysis on Lie groups, Riemannian symmetric spaces, and its discrete counterpart, homogeneous trees

• Functional and Fourier inequalities and their applications to PDEs

• Partial Differential Equations on hyperbolic spaces and Lie groups

• Weighted inequalities and Muckenhoupt weights on spaces of exponential growth
