1. Offline by design
TapCount works fully offline. You do not need an internet connection to create, update, reset, rename, or delete counters.
2. No account required
TapCount does not offer login or signup. There is no account, profile, or cloud identity associated with the app.
3. Data stored on your device
The following information is stored locally on your device only:
Counter names
Counter values
Counter IDs
Creation and update information
Theme preference (Light, Dark, or System)
This data is saved using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). It stays on your phone and is not uploaded to a server.
4. Permissions
TapCount does not request unnecessary permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or files.
5. Optional actions you choose
These features run only if you tap them. They do not send your counters:
Rate Us: attempts to open the Google Play Store listing for TapCount (com.tapincountto.app)
Share App: opens your device share sheet with the message “Try TapCount – Count Anything. Anytime.”
Feedback: attempts to open an email app with the subject “TapCount Feedback”
If Play Store, sharing, or email is unavailable, the app shows a friendly message and does not crash.
6. No tracking
TapCount does not include analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, or crash-reporting services. The app does not collect personal information.
7. Children
TapCount does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is a utility app with no accounts and no online data collection.
8. Your control
You can rename or delete any counter at any time. “Reset All Counters” sets every count back to 0. Uninstalling TapCount removes locally stored TapCount data from that device.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be shown in the app and in the Play Store listing.
10. Contact
