The CardioX is an app that can very quickly and accurately examine the internal and external signs of the user and give a conclusion as to what cardiovascular disease they are facing and the severity of it. Whenever a patient goes to the doctor’s office with discomfort feeling or just are not feeling the best, doctors always search for signs of cardiovascular disease: hereditary factors, recent feelings, checking the skin and eyes for abnormalities. The thing with this is that many doctors and nurses miss certain signs or don’t make the connection between certain answers. Sometimes patients just avoid going to the doctors by passing off signs as something that will just go away or just to avoid the effort of actually going. These people end up being diagnosed at a late stage where damage cannot be avoided. Now, although these may sound like rare situations, they really aren’t. Of the 17.9 million people that die each year of cardiovascular diseases, nearly half are because of the late diagnosis. This also doesn’t count the number of people in rural areas that don’t have access to a proper doctor. In our world of incredible advancements and unimaginable technologies, this fact just doesn’t seem to fit. The solution to this along with many others may just lay in AI.
