September 27, 2021 -- Philippine Cultural College - Main Campus Student Council held a Teacher’s Day celebration virtually through Zoom. The event was entitled Let’s Take It Back To The ’90s, which was followed by an online exemplars awarding ceremony to recognize the teachers and employees who performed exceptionally during the previous school year.
The program began at 9 a.m. and drew over 800 participants. This was the second year that the Teacher’s Day celebration was held online as classes have been conducted virtually. This celebration aims to highlight the teachers' sacrifices and efforts during these trying times.
The program started with a speech from Student Council President Abbygail Ching (12A-ABM) and Student Council Vice President Richard Shao (11A-ABM) where they gave messages giving appreciation to the teachers. This was followed by the Glee Club’s rendition of 《飞扬的青春》. There was also a dance number by the Salinlahi Dance Troupe as they performed I’ll Be There for You by The Rembrandts, followed by 《华夏颂》, a declamation piece from the Chinese department. An aerobic dance video was prepared by the Kinder Department, which was then followed by a violin rendition by Vian Aguila (8B) of Eraserheads’ With a Smile, and song numbers from PCC Alumni Brian Huang and Wendy Isabel Chua. Creative drawings and artworks from the art classes of Teacher Baldwin Kho and Teacher Lloyd Perillo and the multimedia class of Mr. Jounah Elegores were also shown. The Chinese Dance Troupe also gave their own dance interpretation of 《月亮》.

She thanked the people who had been part of her journey as a teacher, and wished that all teachers maintain good health to realize their aspirations in life.
