by Clark Angelo Siao (12C - STEM)| July 25, 2021
On July 19, 2021, Philippine Cultural College – Main Campus began the school year 2021-2022 as its second year of online classes through Zoom Video Conferencing instead of Google Meet from the previous year.
The first week of classes was primarily for the different orientations and introductions across the different grade levels, for the students to adjust to some changes and recap daily routines.
Classroom orientations were first held on the 19th to inform students on requirements, schedules, and other changes. Class advisers oriented the students and answered concerns or queries that the students might have. Part of the orientation week was also to guide the students and their parents in the use of a different platform.
Official orientations per level were also hosted. Grade school orientations were held on the 21st of July, while high school orientations were held on the 22nd. These virtual events recapped important school principles and policies, learning and grading systems, rules and regulations, and other related matters.
Dr. Sining Kotah, the school’s Vice President for Basic Education Department, mentioned in the different orientation events that PCCians shall remain resilient and ready to face any changes and adversities that might come in the way.
