PCCians virtually celebrated the culmination of National Science and Technology Month with the theme “Agham at Teknolohiya: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon” last November 29, 2021 via Zoom Video Conferencing where various Human Elements were on stage.
The program kicked off with the “On Sci Stage: The Human Element” competition where Grades 7 to 9 students showcased their costumes that represented scientific elements. In this segment, students explained the uses, pros, and cons of the element personified. This was followed by a live Question and Answer portion, where each contestant was given a challenging question by one of the judges, and answers were given spontaneously. Afterward, the viewers cast their votes for their favorite contestant through Aralinks.
During the program intermission, Grade 6 students prepared a short video entitled “Lab at Home” and presented simple science experiments that could be done at home. There were also activities and performances prepared to liven up the afternoon program. Ms. Alyssa Gatus hosted a quick game called “Message from the Table”. For the intermission numbers, Vian Aguila (8B) gave a violin rendition of Asin's "Kapaligiran", followed by a song number from Rigel Solomon (8A) and Sofia De Leon (8A). A video featuring the song “May Pag-asa” was played as a tribute to our frontliners. Grade 4 students also cosplayed as famous scientists like Einstein, Newton, and others.
