Philippine Cultural College(PCC) Manila joyfully celebrated World Teachers’ Day on October 4, 2024, with students showing appreciation for their dedicated teachers through thoughtful gifts and heartfelt messages.
The celebration highlighted the profound impact teachers have on their students’ lives, with personalized cards brimming with gratitude and admiration.
Held on campus, the event allowed the students to express their deep respect for the hard work and commitment of their teachers. As one PCC student cited, teachers do more than just teach. They inspire, uplift, and guide learners toward their respective dreams— shaping their identities and who they strive to become. Thus, teacher’s day being celebrated once in a year is an intrinsic way to show gratitude for their heart and passion to cultivate young minds.
Students thoughtfully selected gifts, such as baskets, loot bags, and personalized items, which were received by the teachers in an atmosphere of happiness and celeration. "This reminds us that teaching is not just a job. It is a calling," one teacher reflected. "We are thankful for the recognition and support from our students."
World Teacher’s Day has become a cherished tradition of PCC, aimed at recognizing the invaluable contributions of teachers and staff to both the school and the society. This annual celebration serves to strengthen the bond between students and staff, reaffirming the strong connection that defines the PCC community.
