PCCians’ skills, talents, and performances were featured in a culminating program from the MAPEH-CLUB students last April 8, 2022. The various clubs of the MAPEH subject each contributed to the program in celebration of the progress and achievements of the students this school year.
The program showcased PCC students’ proficiencies in different areas such as music, arts, and fitness among many others. It kicked off with a singing performance by selected Grades 8 - 10 students of Ms. Sonnie Abella who sang “相约北京” and Grades 5-7 students who sang “让我们去看云”, respectively. The Visual Arts Club of Mr. Baldwin Kho and Mr. Lloyd Perillo then presented an online exhibit “Over the Rainbow: Colors of PCC Manila,” which featured its members' creative and colorful artworks this school year. Both the Chinese Dance Class under Mr. Mhicel Unas and the Modern Dance Class under Mr. Darwin Lee also presented their dances.
The Multimedia Club, moderated by Mr. Jounah Elegores, displayed a collection of eye-catching photos created using digital means. The photos highlighted various design concepts like graphic design, calligram, and fontography. Selene De Leon (9B) from the Journalism Club handled by Mr. Daryl Teves presented a solo news broadcasting featuring the Russia-Ukraine conflict and its potential impact on our country. The Fitness Club of Coach Ross Hamero followed with a video that discussed the benefits of regular exercise and body fitness.
The final presentation was the highlights of the online Cooking Contest held last April 1, 2022 by the Cooking Club of Ms. Cathy Ong. The highlights showed the students in action during the contest, as well as the winners with their winning dishes.
Through the efforts of the different clubs and their members, PCC showcased the versatility, skills, and well-roundedness of PCCians.
