FREE CHECK-UP FOR PCC EMPLOYEES, RESTORED

Under the initiative of Philippine Cultural College Alumni Association, Inc. (PCCAAI), the Watch Your Health program was restored wherein the employees of Philippine Cultural College Main Campus were given free check ups. 

In compliance with the protocols given by the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), instead of the usual one-day activity, this year’s examinations were stretched out into days for those who opted to have the check up done in school. Consequently, the on-campus blood test and urinalysis were conducted from September 22-24, 2021.

This year, eye examination was an additional check-up for the program, which was also held on campus last September 22 and this coming October 6. The association also places high regard for the eye health of PCC employees due to the shift to online work. They also offered sponsorship for teachers in availing anti-blue ray eyeglasses.

Meanwhile, laboratory checkups including blood test and urinalysis through Intercon Diagnostic Laboratory Banawe branch were also available for employees who wished to avail of such service. X-ray services were also exclusively available in the laboratory.

This annual project went on a hiatus last school year. This year, the PCCAAI brought it back to fulfill the health-related demands of the school community amidst the ongoing pandemic.
