The Grade 12-Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students organized a webinar entitled "Strategies for Business Continuity during Challenging Times" last April 16, 2021.
The webinar, attended by Grade 11 and Grade 12 ABM students, started with a short video of PCC Main ABM alumni talking about their chosen strand, their experiences during their time in senior high school, and how these have helped them in college.
The main speaker of the webinar was Mrs. Agnes Santos, the Chairperson and School Directress of Great Beginnings Integrated School in Pasay City. She began by giving a quick introduction of Great Beginnings Integrated School and Kumon Edsa Pasay Center, both of which are schools she handles. She discussed the difficulties and hurdles she had experienced during the pandemic. She also shared the solutions she employed. She also gave her insights on the past few years of her business, and realizations of things that she learned along the way.
Santos motivated the students to keep persevering even during these challenging times. A question and answer portion moderated by the ABM Work Immersion adviser Mr. Oscar Deo Dacuba was held to accommodate the students’ inquiries.
The speaker ended the webinar with a quote, “The strongest tree will break if it fights the wind. It is those who bend that weather the storm.”
