Last June 26, 2023, guests, students, teachers, and alumni were warmly welcomed with a variety of food by the following food stalls: 10.25 Cafe, Macarons Macarons, D&H Artisan Chocolates, TAKO DEPOT, Biscuiterie, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, NYFD, Macao Imperial Tea, El Cocina, Olympia’s House of Roast Beef, Red Wok, Chef Monklong, Mochi Creme, Zagu Pearl Shakes, Hold My Egg. There was also a booth selling limited edition merchandise of the PCC Centennial, such as t-shirts, tote bags, and neck pillows.
The program’s opening act began at 6:00 PM with hosts Mr. Daryl Teves and Mr. Raymond Santos. It was then followed by a series of dance numbers, song renditions, a martial arts show, and dragon dance acts by our teachers, schoolmates, and guests. There were also raffle draws in between segments of performances.
By 7:00 PM, the carnival games and mini-sportsfest began, respectively, at the school’s third floor and gym. There was an array of fun carnival games and booths like tossing games, darts, puzzles, escape rooms, a haunted house, a jail booth, and a marriage booth.
At the school’s gymnasium, a mini-sportsfest was held featuring a three point shootout competition. During the time those were happening on the school’s upper floor, there were guessing games, PCCian bingo, PCC Henyo, and Battle of the Brains happening on the ground floor.
The school expressed its sincere gratitude to the Parent’s Auxiliary Council, alumni, sponsors, administrators, teachers, and special guests in working together to have a successful welcoming of the centennial year of the institution.
Around 11:59 PM, the people present at the festival did a countdown to 12:00 AM outside the school. At the stroke of midnight, a fireworks display was shown as a present for the PCCians. The event ended at around 1:00 AM with another round of raffle draws, a dragon dance, and a mob dance.
This centennial fest was attended by hundreds of PCCians. School personnel, teachers, students, alumni, guests, former affiliates, and even parents came together to celebrate a century of school excellence.
