The first week of school was primarily for orienting the students on online classroom regulations, announcing the learning and grading systems, and sharing self-introductions between the students and teachers. There was not much classroom discussion on subject lessons during the first week.
The week before classes started, online orientations were held for the parents and the students. These orientations informed the parents and the students about the various school policies, grading systems, requirements, classes, and schedules. They also explained the HyFlex learning modality, which would be implemented in August.
This school year, the school implemented HyFlex learning, where students could freely choose between going to classes entirely online or blended learning. Students went to school on certain days of the week, two days for the grade school and junior high school students and four days for the senior high school students.
The HyFlex learning modality officially started last August 1, wherein students who opted for face-to-face or onsite learning went to school and attended their classes in school. Meanwhile, students who opted for online learning modality attended classes through Zoom Video Conferencing. The classrooms were equipped with projectors, cameras, microphones, and speakers, to facilitate the students taking the classes online to participate in the classroom discussion. It was the first-time face-to-face classes were conducted since the school year 2020-2021.
