Mr. Stephen Allen M. Dy is currently the Adviser for PCC Tanglaw. He teaches a wide range of students, from elementary to senior high school.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude and Batch Valedictorian from the Philippine Normal University (Manila). He was recognized as the Best Demonstration Teacher and Best Practice Teacher by the university's Institute of Teaching and Learning.
In 2019, he received the FSTeM Laurels for his exceptional performance as a STEM student. His involvement extended beyond academics as he was also the general secretary of the Philippine Normal University Chorale (PNUC) and was honored with the Male Vocal Ensemble Award.
Currently, Mr. Dy is pursuing his Master's Degree in Learning and Teaching in Science Education at the Far Eastern University (Manila). He has published one research paper and has two more pending publication.
He also contributed to the academe as a resource person for PNU, where he taught pre-service teachers how to create e-portfolios. Additionally, he was the module layout artist for the PNU-ITL's "Ang Bagong Kadawyan: A Practice Teacher's Module."
He began writing in newspaper in sixth grade. He was a member of "The Scribe" and "Ang Patnubay," the official school publications of Philippine Cultural College, Caloocan Campus. He served as the Features and Literary Editor, while simultaneously holding the position of Vice President of the Philippine Cultural College Youth Choir. Beyond writing, he also served as a choral conductor in his previous school.
