Who Are We?
The purpose of the SMS shall be to stimulate, encourage, and enhance professional development in the field of sport management while providing networking opportunities for members of the organization.
President Statement: "Being a part of SMS has opened countless doors for me in the sports industry. It has helped me network, find a career path that I’m passionate about, volunteer within the community, and forge lifelong friendships. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to bring in valuable guest speakers who share their inspiring stories with our members. We also continually seek out the best sports volunteer opportunities to offer, such as the Men's and Women's Final Four, Conference USA Basketball Championships, the Alamo Bowl, and more!
One of my favorite aspects of SMS is the chance to socialize with fellow members through fun activities in College Station, participating in intramurals, and enjoying profit share events. SMS truly has something for everyone. Take advantage of the opportunities our organization provides and start your journey in the sports industry with us!"
