This Privacy Policy applies to the Tamil Voice to Text mobile application ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information you share while using our application.
To provide real-time voice-to-text transcription, our application requires access to specific features on your device:
Microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO):
This permission is required exclusively to listen to your voice input and convert your spoken Tamil words into text.
We do not record, store, collect, or upload your audio files to our own servers.
Spoken audio is processed dynamically via Google's official Speech Recognition service on your device.
Storage and Local Data:
All transcribed text, notes, and saved speech history are stored locally on your device (via your device's internal storage / SharedPreferences). We do not transmit or back up your stories, notes, or drafts to external servers.
Our application integrates trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device in accordance with their respective privacy policies:
Google Play Services: Used to facilitate platform services and core features.

Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the application. AdMob may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and advertising data to serve relevant ads.

Google Play In-App Billing: Facilitates secure digital transactions if you choose to make in-app purchases (such as removing ads). All financial transactions are processed securely through Google Play; we never collect or view your payment details or card numbers.
Your Content Remains Yours: Since all speech-to-text outputs are saved directly inside your device's private storage, no third party—including the app developer—has access to your personal writings, dictated stories, or notes.
Sharing Content: When you use the "Share" or "Copy" features, your transcribed text is transferred solely to the target application you choose (such as WhatsApp, Gmail, or clipboard) under your direct control.
Data Deletion: You can delete any saved record directly inside the app at any time, or clear all app data through your Android device settings.
Our application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe that your child has provided personal information via the app, please reach out so we can take appropriate steps.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. Any modifications will be posted directly to this page with an updated "Effective Date."
