Step One

Watch the introduction video.

Step Two

Watch the instruction video. Listen to the read aloud or read the book. While you are listening to the read aloud make a list of problems that the characters are facing. They can come from the words or the illustrations. Try to come up with at LEAST FIVE of your own.

Step Three

Open the google doc and read the problems that others have found. Add any of yours that you found while listening to the read aloud.

THEN choose ONE problem to solve with ENGINEERING. This will require you to build, design, and/or create something and it should work when you are done.

Step Four

Ask yourself the question - does it work?

Step Five

Go to FlipGrid and share your design with the class. AND give your assigned partner feedback on their design. Remember to use the phrases:

Have you considered...?
What might happen if...?
Did you mean to...?
