Welcome to my homepage!
I am an economist working at the intersection of international trade, migration, and political economy, with a focus on applied microeconomics.
My research examines how conflicts, beliefs, regulatory frameworks, and the movement of people shape global integration and economic behaviour, particularly how nations produce, trade, and cooperate. Using structural and microeconometric methods, I seek to uncover the forces that bind and divide economies in an interconnected world.
Recently received the Francesco Pastore Young Economist Award for the article “Bilateral trade and voluntary environmental standards: Insights from ISO 14001 certification” (joint with Daniela Lena).
