I am an economist working at the intersection of international trade, migration and factor mobility, and political economy, with a focus on applied microeconomics. 

My research examines the consequences of geopolitical frictions for international economic relations and institutional trust, as well as the effects of migration and voluntary environmental standards on economic outcomes. I use structural gravity models and applied microeconometric methods.

In 2026, I received the Francesco Pastore Young Economist Award for the paper “Bilateral trade and voluntary environmental standards: Insights from ISO 14001 certification”  (with Daniela Lena).
